Me as a woman so strong and divine,
Will tek care of my picknie, with love and time
Me as a woman bold and free,
I am ashamed,
I don’t want my picknie doing manual work,
Like me.
Tough love I know, tough love I give;
My past embarrassments I try to outlive.
Toiling daily, education is the key.
The key to free my children from mental slavery.
Me as a child so young and frail,
Your love I want, no boff, no hate.
Proud am I to be your child,
No shame exist when I look at you,
Through my eye.
Just hugs and kisses, a warm meal will do;
No abuse, no quarrel
Just love between me and you.
The thanks I give is all but free,
For your sacrifices and trying to educate me.
Me as a mother, I can learn new tricks too
Proud and honoured for a blessing,
That is you.
Me as a parent, I will always defend
Love and work those hours,
On me you can depend.
Me as a parent, and I as your child
Let love guide us, As forever we will abide.
