When yuh check fi somebody

weh nuh check fi yuh

Is like the floor just guh weh from beneath yuh

Is like the tears dry up outta yuh eye

Is like a bird wid one wing,

weh caan fly;

When yuh check fi a guy

weh preach the gospel of lies,

Yuh waan shut up yuh ears,

But yuh sit dung like bees pon honey, fi days;

When yuh check fi somebody an fall in luv to,

yuh betta mek sure

Dem check fi yuh to.
